Application
to Open a Market Support Services (MSS) Account
In
accordance with the Market Support Service Code, as a contestable
consumer you are required to open a market support services
(MSS) account with SP Services Ltd. There shall be one market
support services account for each of the premises of which
you have been classified as contestable. The following Conditions
of Service document sets out the terms in which market
support services will be provided to Contestable Consumers
in the new electricity market.
If
you have already chosen a retailer, your retailer will arrange
to open a market support services account on your behalf.
To
change a purchase arrangement from MSSL to Retailer
Your
retailer will put up the request on your behalf for the transfer
from MSSL to a Retailer. A final bill will be sent to MSSL consumer
in accordance with the settlement schedule. The transfer from MSSL
to a retailer will take 1 business day and a notification acknowledging
the successful completion of transaction will be sent to your new
retailer.
